If you’re like us you’ve only experienced the canned cranberry sauce that is provided at your family Thanksgiving. This year we stumbled upon fresh cranberries at HEB and decided to cook up our own sauce. Turned out DELICIOUS! We added in some apples we had left from breakfast which were a treat. We enjoyed it on top of our kale salad and it would be great as a Jam!
3 cups fresh or frozen cranberries
3 tblsp of powdered stevia
3/4 cup of water
Simmer cranberries and water together over medium heat. Add stevia. Simmer for about 10 mins, stirring occasionally. Pour into container and cool. Refrigerate after cooled. Makes approximately 4 cups.

RECIPE! BLACK BEAN BROWNIES – we cooked these up during our Sunday meal prep routine. Turned out DELISH, highly recommend if you’re craving sweets.
1 1/2 cups black beans (1 15-oz can, drained and rinsed very well)
2 tbsp cocoa powder
1/2 cup quick oats
1/3 cup agave nectar or honey
2 tbsp stevia
1/4 cup coconut oil
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 cup to 2/3 cup chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350 F. Combine all ingredients except chips in a good food processor, and blend until completely smooth. (A blender can work also) Stir in the chips, then pour into a greased 8×8 pan or muffin pan. Cook 15-20 minutes, then let cool at least 10 minutes before trying to cut. Makes 6-9 brownies.
